Suntory Museum of Art (9-7-4 Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo) – located in Tokyo’s midtown district of Roppongi and housed in an ultra-modern structure, this museum (which has exhibits that change periodically), houses an important collection of ancient Japanese art, porcelain and objects from the 17th, 18th & 19th centuries, some of great historical and cultural value.
Hours: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm (10:00 am – 8:00 pm Fridays & Saturdays). Closed on Tuesdays. Admission fee for adult, high school, and college students varies by exhibition. Free admission for junior high students and under. See museum’s website for details: www.suntory.com
