India Gate (Rajpath, India Gate, New Delhi, Delhi) — One of the chief attractions of Delhi, India Gate was built as a memorial to commemorate the 70,000 India soldiers who died in World War I. Designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens the monument was completed in 1931.
