Mumbai (city) – this major Indian city, which faces the Indian Ocean and is a 10-hours’ drive north of Goa, was once known as Bombay. Among other things, Mumbai (whose population is 18 million) is the heart of the Hindi-language dominated Bollywood film industry, and is the second largest metropolis in India. Mumbai is also the country’s financial & commercial capital of India.
