Shibuya Crossing (near Hachiko Plaza, Tokyo) – this pedestrian intersection is popular among tourists simply for the sheer waves of humanity that traverse through here daily – reminiscent of Times Square in New York, and to a lesser degree Piccadilly Circus in London. Blazing neon lights and gigantic video screens also invite such comparisons. Western movie goers have become familiar with this Tokyo tourist spot through Hollywood films like “Lost in Translation”, “Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift” and “Jumper”.
