Coffee National Park
National Coffee Park (Km. 6 via Montenegro, Pueblo Tapao, Quindio) – since Colombia is well-known for its coffee, some visitors will naturally want to visit the country’s coffee-growing regions. Located 7 hours (via car) west of Bogotá, this theme park is for such tourists. Visitors can spend the day there learning about the production of the world famous coffee and walking around the beautiful grounds where hundreds of coffee plants are cultivated.
There are also museums, souvenir shops, restaurants, horse riding, traditional fincas (country/farm houses), a traditional train that runs through the park with old style stations and of course loads of amusement rides and attractions including a roller coaster, a Ferris wheel, log flume, a free fall ride, bumper cars and boats.
