Bird’s Isle Restaurant (at the south end of Albert Street, Belize City) — locals and tourists alike flock to the open-air palapa to partake of sea breezes, fresh-squeezed juice and cold beers, as well as delicious burgers and tasty snacks like conch fritters. Thursdays from 8:30pm to 1am is karaoke night; the bar also has live music occasionally. One specialty here is the conch soup.
