AsiaWorld-Expo (Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong) – along with the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center, this 14,000-seat venue is another major convention and exhibition facility in Hong Kong. Located near Hong Kong International Airport, AsiaWorld-Expo holds a number of popular events, such as the Hong Kong Showdown (tennis tournament) every March, which features women’s tennis pros like Caroline WOzniacki and Wimbledon finalist Agnieszka Radwanska, as well as veteran men’s tennis pros John McEnroe and Ivan Lendl.
Along with that, AsiaWorld-Expo is also known for holding major pop & rock musical events, such as Coldplay, Eric Clapton, Oasis, Christina Aguilera, Kylie Minogue, Green Day, Lady Gaga, as well as classical music events such as Placido Domingo and Il Divo.
